The Derma Co Sunscreen: Claims and 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen Aqua Gel Ingredients

The 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen Aqua Gel is a Derma-Co. bestseller which claims to be lightweight, non-greasy and water soluble, thus making it comfortable on the skin. It is SPF 50 and PA++++ broad-spectrum sunscreen. PA++++ denotes an extremely high UVA protection ability and broad spectrum refers to a sunscreen’s ability to protect the skin from all kinds of UV radiations – both UVA and UVB.

It is essential that a sunscreen be at least PA+++ and broad-spectrum for maximum protection and PA++++ passes the mark easily and with flying colours. It also contains Hyaluronic acid which is responsible for hydration, flexibility and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Further, it contains Vitamin-E which is an ingredient that helps in reducing sun damage, and Titanium Dioxide, which is a UV filter.

The Derma Co Hyaluronic Sunscreen Aqua Gel Review – My Experience

Affordability and quality is what I look for when buying a product. I personally found the sunscreen to be comfortable to wear. According to me, it is one of the rare sunscreens in the market which is, both, moisturizing and non-greasy (while being affordable at the same time). Since, I have very dry skin, the sunscreen proves to be effective and I do not need to apply a moisturizer which not only saves me money on different products but I feel it also helps my skin to be less layered with products.

Since, I can comfortably skip the moisturizing step, it also saves me time in my skincare routine. However, I used this sunscreen on my trip to a coastal city and re-applied every 2 hours but my skin got tanned even after using it diligently. So, this does not reduce tanning especially in areas where sunlight intensity is higher. Therefore, I do not prefer using this sunscreen for my face but since it’s cheaper and has a good hydrating formula, I use it for my arms and other exposed areas of skin. Below is my final verdict about this product and some of the FAQs related to the sunscreen answered.
