Consider yourself to be on trial, with the university Admissions Committee as the jury. Except in this scenario, you’re not trying to prove your innocence, but trying to prove that you are an excellent candidate for admission to your selected university’s Masters or PhD program. To do so, you must write a brief essay with concrete examples and proof of your experience and motivation, all of which speak to the type of student you are and why you are a good fit for the chosen degree.
Statement of PurposeFORMAT
The four P’s must be included when writing a Statement of Purpose. Purpose, Previous experience, Program, and Personality. Though the standards mentioned may differ depending on the program and university, the Admission Committee focuses on these four areas when reviewing your statement of purpose. Below are some of the questions the Admissions Committee expects you to answer:
What academic path did you choose, and why did you choose it?
How did you learn about this college and why did you decide to apply?
Why did you choose this country if you're applying to a school abroad?
What prior experience do you have in the field you've chosen?
What skills do you hope to develop from this degree?
What is your plan after graduation?
What do you want to gain from this school and programme?
How can your abilities and expertise benefit the school?
How do the values of the school reflect your own, or vice versa?
How do you distinguish yourself from the competition?
Shocked already? Don’t worry! Here’s a brief breakdown of how you should write.
Begin by brainstorming about YOURSELF – your past, your experience, and your achievements that can be included to strengthen your application.
The next step would be to conduct a thorough investigation of the university and the programme to which you are applying.
Make an outline with the information you’ve gathered. Spend some time considering how you want to build the story.
Once you’re happy with the outline, produce an initial draft and add all of the information you’ve gathered.
Make the final copy and have it proofread by someone.
Use Times New Roman in a formal font with 12 as the font size, and a 1.5 space between lines.
The statement of purpose format requirements is a basic formality that tells the university that you understand academic writing standards and can present yourself professionally. Now, let’s go through each section in detail, with examples of how I wrote my statement of purpose for my master’s in the UK.
Imagine this: the Admission Committee has no idea who you are until now, and this is going to be the first paragraph they are going to read from your letter. Begin with something like a hook, where the reader is drawn in by your words. In this portion of 1-2 paragraphs, you have to narrate a short story of how you got to where you are today.
However, this also should not be a broad statement on your lifelong interest in computer science or management. Tell them about your interests and why you want to pursue graduate studies. This should be brief and to the point; don’t spend too much time explaining your autobiography here.
2. Summarise About Yourself – Why You’re Qualified
This is where you should demonstrate how you’ve prepared for this great challenge by working hard in the undergrad or your career, gaining high grades, professional honours, and so on. Discuss the obstacles you’ve overcome that show you’re ready to succeed on this exciting new path.
Also, This is where you should include all the details about your previous education, internships, professional experience, and any leadership positions you’ve held. However, don’t mention every detail about your past. That will make your SOP into a CV. At the same time, try to keep your experience with the program you’ve chosen to learn.
3. Summarise Why This University And This Program
This section should be primarily on the chosen university and programme. There must be a reason why you choose this particular university. There might be something special about why you choose this university. It might be their career support, extracurricular activities, or even the modules, location, and so on. In addition, your statement of purpose should explain why you and the programme are a suitable fit. You should be able to explain why your work is appropriate for the programme as well as why the programme is relevant to your career and ambitions.
For example, for my master’s degree in the UK, I chose project management. I reviewed some of the popular universities’ project management course modules, picked some of the best, and applied for those. For more guidance on how to choose the right university in the UK – click here. To be more specific, I liked the project management course modules at the University of Liverpool as they covered current subjects and offered several elective modules linked to my previous employment experience. By the way, this is not a promotional statement to the University of Liverpool.

4. Conclude With A Commitment Statement
The final paragraph is your last chance to leave a permanent impact; make the most of it. Try your best to conclude your comment with something valuable and memorable. One approach is to highlight how your selected course will help pave the way for your future. Another way is to speak about your commitment and how you deserve to be selected for the desired course programme.
I hope you are clear on how to write a statement of purpose for your master’s. If you are still worried about how to write, reach out to us for more writing help.
What is a Good Credit Score? – To answer this in short, a good credit score simplifies your life. This three-digit number can almost ruin your finances, but it can also make your life easier. Don’t worry if you have no idea what a credit score is or what it can do.
We’ve got you covered. This guide will explain what is a credit score, how it affects your financial life, and how to improve your score. This is one of the must-read articles and information to understand, especially if you are in your ’20s and just starting out in your financial life.
WHAT IS A CREDIT SCORE?
A credit score is a three-digit number between 300 and 850 that indicates a person’s creditworthiness. Financial institutions use credit scores when lending money to a potential customer; the higher the score, the better the chances of obtaining financial assistance. Credit history, such as the number of active accounts, repayment history, defaults if any, the total amount of debt, and other factors, all contribute to a person’s credit score.
How credit score works
A credit score has a direct impact on your financial life and is important when borrowing. For example, if a person’s credit score is between 580 and 620, they are classified as a subprime borrower. (Subprime borrowers are those who have a history of loan default or a bankruptcy record, as well as those who have low-income levels in comparison to their mortgage payment ability).
Subprime mortgages typically have higher interest rates than conventional mortgages to compensate for the additional risk.
A credit score of 700 or higher, on the other hand, is generally regarded as favorable and may result in a borrower receiving a lower interest rate, which means they will pay less money in interest over the life of the loan. Scores of 800 or higher are considered exceptional. Each creditor determines its own credit score range.
The ability to repay is the reason why lenders charge high-interest rates to customers with low credit scores and low-interest rates to customers with good credit. Lending and credit scores, on the other hand, advise the lender about the customer. As a result, the interest rate varies to avoid risk. Isn’t it fascinating? I hope you understand what a three-digit number can do.
Deep subprime (credit scores below 580) | Subprime (credit scores of 580-619) | Near-prime (credit scores of 620-659) | Prime (credit scores of 660-719) | Super-prime (credit scores of 720 or above)
Credit information companies consider a credit score of 700 or higher to be good. You’re on the right track if your credit score is 680 and rising. I’ve gathered some country-specific data to provide a more in-depth overview.
The interest rates and payments you make when borrowing money, and how much you pay are directly related to your credit score. If you keep a good credit score, you will almost certainly qualify for lower interest rates on credit cards and loans.
2. Approval for Higher Limits
Your borrowing power is determined by your income and credit score. One advantage of having a good credit score is that you will be eligible for a higher borrowing limit because you have demonstrated timely repayment of your borrowings.
3. Better Rewards
A higher credit score grants access to a broader range of credit cards as well as a higher credit limit. Cards expect good credit to be approved by rewards lenders. This includes both travel rewards cards, which can be used to pay for your entire vacation, and cash-back rewards cards, which give you a percentage of your spending back.
4. Easy Approval for Rental
A good credit score is also required for renting out property. Many landlords use credit scores as part of their screening process. Having a good credit history will make it easier to close deals. If you do not, you may be required to pay a larger deposit, sign a short-term lease, or even be denied housing entirely.
The Top Factors that Impact Your Credit Score
1. Payment History
Your payment history is the most important factor in determining your credit score because it shows whether you are dependable and consistent with your payments; even one or two late payments can harm your credit score. If you’ve been late for more than 90 days (even once), credit scoring models will assume you’ll do it again. This can have an impact on your credit profile and your ability to obtain credit or favourable rates.
2. Credit Card Utilization
The debt-to-limit ratio, also known as the credit utilisation ratio, calculates how much of your entire credit card limit you are using. The expert advice is to keep your credit usage proportion at or below 30%. A high credit utilisation ratio may be detrimental to your credit score.
You can calculate credit utilization yourself using this formula:
Add up all of your credit card balances.
Add together the credit limits on all of your cards.
Subtract the total sum from the total credit limit.
Divide your credit utilization ratio by 100 to get a percentage.
3. Credit History Length
As long as you have a history of consistent on-time payments on your open accounts, establishing a long credit history usually boosts your credit score. This component of your credit score is determined by factors such as the length of time you’ve had all of your credit accounts open.
4. Credit Mix
People with good credit typically have a diverse credit portfolio that includes a vehicle loan, credit card, school loan, mortgage, or other credit products. Credit scoring models look at the types of accounts you have and the quantity of them to determine how well you manage a wide range of credit products.
5. Number of Inquiries
Lenders do a hard check when you apply for new sorts of credit. It is used to measure your repayment potential and other characteristics, and it has a 20% impact on your credit score. Applying to multiple lenders may result in more difficult queries. Lenders that see a high number of recent enquiries may suspect you’re applying everywhere because you can’t get credit or are desperate for money.
The longer you wait to pay, the lower your credit score will be. After seven years, late payments are usually removed from your credit report. As an example, A single 30-day late payment might reduce your credit score by 100 points.
2. Limit hard inquiries
Hard inquiries stay on your credit record for 24 months, and your credit score usually recovers within six months.
3. Foreclosure and repossession
For seven years, repossession or foreclosure will remain on your credit report. Make on-time payments and pay off debts to improve your credit score. The effect of a foreclosure on credit scores is determined by the lender. Some homeowners with good credit may see their scores decline by 100 points or more after a foreclosure.
4. Avoid several credit cards
Avoid using multiple credit cards at the same time in order to take advantage of offers, discounts, and points. Excessive credit usage has a negative impact on your credit score. The general rule is to keep no more than three active cards.
FAQs
We performed a credit score survey and asked credit card users (ranging from college students to experienced financial leaders) for their responses to credit score frequently asked questions. The following are the answers to credit card customers’ inquiries.
Do many purchases affect credit score?
No. More purchases will have no impact on your credit score.
Does having a credit card help or hurt if I’m trying to build credit?
A credit card is useful and can help you boost your credit score if used carefully. When you have a credit card, it is tempting to make purchases. It should be highlighted that you spend the amount that allows you to pay the whole amount (not just the minimum) in the next billing cycle.
Why do the credit score and payment history matter to a Student?
As a student, you will always have limited cash or balance. Having a solid credit score and payment history will allow you to use services like buy now pay later and monthly contracts for larger goods that a student cannot afford in one go.
What are the common mistakes that people make in this area?
1. Overspending, poor planning, and a lack of technical expertise. 2. Purchasing items that exceed one’s means. 3. Failure to check billing cycle dates, making only the minimum payment for the billing cycle, over 80% of credit limit more frequently, extremely low or no credit card usage for an extended period of time, having more than three credit cards.
How do you maintain your credit score?
1. Paying bills on time and not using more than 30% of the total credit card amount. 2. On-time full bill payment, mixed buying and avoiding approaching threshold limitations, contracts/EMI purchases lasting no more than 6-12 months, and frequent credit score checks. 3. Using 20% of the credit on average every month and paying bills on time.
Bottomline
We hope you now have an idea of what a credit score is. We also recommend you start using credit apps like Credit Karma, or Experian if you live in the UK, Europe, or the USA for free. Credit Karma, Paytm, or CRED are some of the apps you can use to check your credit score if you live in India. Make on-time payments, monitor your credit score, be aware of your credit card usage, and enjoy your financial life.

RESPECT – One of the Things Super Rich People Can’t Buy. Yes, you read that right. Reading the newspaper every day is the one and only good practice that I have kept for years. We generally witness a pattern in the media, particularly print media and social media, of taunting/abusing/trolling Indian business people or industrialists on a regular basis while bestowing demi-god status to Indian-origin CEOs of major tech companies. This often disappoints me because the facts paint a different image. Nothing can take away from the fact that CEOs of Indian descent deserve more recognition and so does our business people. You might have figured it out where I am going. Yes, I am talking about the people who are on the world richest lists.
For the past few weeks, the most widely circulated news is Adani becoming the world’s second richest person. Great!! Congratulations to him as a fellow human and an Indian. However, it seems not everyone is happy about it. Many reports, news briefs, and videos have been prepared to analyse and decode his success, as well as forecast his downfall. Personally, I am unfamiliar with the ABCDs of accounting and financials in corporate finance and I am unable to forecast or evaluate the group’s future. However, my observations are based on the general public’s perception of these super-rich, high-net-worth individuals.
To give you an idea, the Adani Group employs about 345000 people directly and another 200000 people indirectly. The group’s overall staff count exceeds that of Google, Microsoft, and Fidelity combined. The average compensation for Adani employees in India is 6.7 lakhs, which is more than the country’s yearly per capita GDP. The Adani group’s forthcoming initiatives in green energy, ports and logistics management and the cement industry are expected to create 100,000+ skilled and unskilled jobs across India. All of these are amazing figures that go unreported due to the hypocrisy of some media outlets.
Adani Group of companies (source: Internet)
We frequently hear about Adani and Ambani being heavily backed by the government. There are so many allegations going on that our government not only steered asset sales and management contracts to the Adani Group, such as Mumbai Airport. They’ve also pressured and threatened foreign governments on its behalf. To an extent, I do believe this may be correct. But what do you expect the government to do? To oppose and pull them down? Just as China did with Jack Ma? The government’s principal duty is to provide a conducive environment for all enterprises operating in the country, and it is critical that people with the most leverage, such as Adani, are in line to benefit from the government’s policies. Adani and Ambani have been accused of corruption and cooperation with government sources, which could be true.
POSTS YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS
But, this is how a capitalist regime works. People who vilify Indian businessmen and glorify foreign CEOs should be aware that Google is waging multiple legal battles over advertising and intellectual property rights. Until the Data Localization Bill is passed, Microsoft is engaging in data mobilization from India. These tech conglomerates are accused of directly intervening and influencing the intimate lives of those who use their programs.
Oh, and if you’re wondering, I’m not a really rich person either. In general, I do not support our government and do not believe that what Adani is doing is perfect. I merely wanted to provide an alternative perspective to how we generally view the super-rich. They may have inherited their fortune from their father or forebears, but this does not imply that they are freeloaders who have never worked hard for money. Their capacity for planning, strategizing, and taking decisions has helped them get to where they are.
Finally, regardless of how much Adani or Ambani earn or how much of it is sustainable, they deserve respect and recognition for the work that they accomplish. I realize that they are too big to fail and that this has a knock-on effect on the economy, but they do deserve our respect.
What are your opinions on the subject? Do you have a different point of view? Please let me know in the comments section, and I will gladly debate. I’ll see you in the next post. Until then, Godspeed!!

#1 GET A UK SIM CARD
Getting a UK-based sim card is essential for connecting and communicating with friends and peer groups as international tariffs would be costly. There is a huge range of carriers such as EE, Vodafone, O2, Three, and Libra available. You can opt for pay-as-you-go which is similar to prepaid or a contract-based subscription which is similar to post-paid but you’ll be enrolled into a fixed term. You may be provided with a sim from your University, you can use it for the time being and later port it to your preferred carrier later.
#2 OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT
You need a local bank account/Debit card for your essential and prefatory shopping as international charges would be high. Getting a bank account could be a hassle and receiving your Debit card could take a long time. You could use REVOLUT instead which is one of the best digital banks in the world. Check out our post on REVOLUT REVIEW – IS THIS THE BEST BANK FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS? – CLICK HERE.
Revolut offers quick set-up, easy international transfers and virtual cards to help you with your initial shopping payments. You can also get rewards by referring your friends. Please read our post on how to set up your Revolut.
#3 COLLECT YOUR BIOMETRIC RESIDENCE PERMIT (BRP)
The BRP is the identity card which provides proof for you to stay, study and work part-time during your stay in the UK. The BRP contains your photo and fingerprint details which can be used to access biometric information.
You can collect your BRP in the location mentioned in the letter along with your Visa after your arrival in the UK which would be either your University or the nearest Post Office. The Post office is open between 9 am and 5.30 pm on weekdays and till 12.30 pm on Saturdays, but I would recommend you go before 3 because when I went to collect BRP at 4.30 pm due to the long queue I was not allowed to stay and had to go the next day.
#4 REGISTER WITH GENERAL PRACTICE (GP)
GP is the general practitioner doctor, with whom all your medical records are kept. You would have already paid for an immigration health surcharge along with your Visa. You can access NHS services. You need to register with your GP once you are aware of the address. You can register with GP through the NHS portal.
Once you have registered you will have access to a free consultation with your GP, Free hospital treatment in case of an accident, emergency or if the GP recommends it and much more similar to that of a UK national.
#5 APPLY FOR A NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER (NI)
A national insurance number is issued by the UK income tax department which you need to proceed while joining employment (part-time or full-time). You can apply for NI only if you have your BRP and can apply through the UK government portal. You will have to provide your passport details, your BRP, and a photo of you holding your passport. Once you have applied you receive a mail with an application reference number, and it might take up to 4 weeks to get your NI.
#6 ROAM AROUND AND GET TO KNOW PLACES
Once you have completed all the above processes, take a break and explore your university and your city, each city in the UK is unique with its own peculiarity. You can visit your University’s student guild and meet your uni-mates to discover about various societies available. You can scout around the city to know major shopping centres, dining spots and popular site seeing places. You can even visit the Lake District which is a popular vacation destination in the UK. Check out our post on TOP 6 TOWNS TO VISIT IN LAKE DISTRICT –CLICK HERE.
Please share this post with your friends and mates who are not aware of all these still. It might help them big time. If I have missed out on anything please do share it, this will help others. There will be a post on how to get a part-time job for students in the UK. Please subscribe to JUST A LIBRARYfor more updates on that.
Congratulations on your choice to pursue your master’s degree aboard. If you are still undecided, you should read this post on 5 REASONS TO CONSIDER YOUR MASTER’s PROGRAM ABROAD – CLICK HERE. If you’ve decided to study abroad, the next step is to decide on the course you are interested in followed by the nation you want to study in. I am going to leave these two action points with you because it needs to decide only by yourself.
Once you’ve decided on the course and the country, the next step would be choosing the right university and it is not an easy decision to take as well. I chose a master’s in Project management as I’m interested in managing projects, etc. and chose the United Kingdom because it is well-known for management studies, so I’ll use those as an example here. In this article, I will be sharing my thoughts and suggestions on how to choose the right university in the UK along with my thoughts on how to choose the right university in UK.
#1 Understanding the Rankings
Every year, numerous organizations rank higher education institutions. These rankings, which are based on a variety of factors, are consolidated to assist forthcoming students in making decisions about where they want to study. For instance, The QS World University Rankings place a strong emphasis on research and reputation but do not consider teaching quality or student feedback. Other organisations, such as the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and the Complete University Guide, place a greater emphasis on research excellence and student satisfaction.
Understanding the rankings is a good starting point for your research, but it won’t tell you everything you need to know about which university is best for you. Understanding what different rankings are based on can help you make an informed decision. Rankings for specific subjects, for example, can differ significantly from rankings for university overall quality. I would recommend you to create an excel sheet and fill in all the findings you get on the ranking from all perspectives which will be helpful to make the decisions later. I’ve also attached my findings on some of the top universities in UK in the tips and recommendations section below.
#2 Comparing the Universities
Once you’ve prepared a list of universities you are interested to join with all the rankings, etc, now comes the HAMMER TIME. I would highly recommend you to spend some good time on this and do proper research on each university. To simplify this, below are some of the factors you need to bear in mind while selecting the top priorities.
Are the institutions recognised by UK authorities to award UK degrees?
How do they measure up in terms of student satisfaction and support?
Once you have filtered down all the universities under the course you are interested in, we need to go deep down into every single one on how good the course is structured and how detailed the modules are. At first glance, it seems that many universities offer the same course. However, upon closer inspection, the courses offered by various universities appear to be more disparate. Modules may be taught by different professors and tested in various ways (exams or essays). Some universities provide placement opportunities, while others do not offer certain modules.
Consider all of your options carefully, because you will be stuck with your decision for a year or two. Remember that if you are not an academic, look for a course that will give me more hands-on experience rather than a theory-based programme. Create a column for how you will be taught and assessed by each university. It can include things like how many exams, essays, or group projects a course has, as well as the course content. This will provide you with a clear understanding of the course you are interested in from some of the top universities in UK.
#4 Choosing the Location
Universities can be found throughout the United Kingdom, from large bustling cities to quiet coastal towns. When deciding on a location, it’s worth considering the following in mind:
Would you rather live in a big city, a small town, or somewhere quieter?
Do you have any extracurricular interests?
Do you have any family, friends, or other connections in the UK that you would like to be close to or easily accessible to?
Have you looked into the cost of living?
Do you want to study in England, Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland?
Location comes at a price. Living costs vary across the UK, and this is something that many students are unaware of. Here is a heads-up. To study in London, you must have a monthly budget of £1,334 or a maximum of 9 months or £12,006 according to UK Visa and Immigration. This amount is in addition to the tuition. This is one of the basic requirements to obtain a visa to study in London. The amount will be lower in other parts of the UK. If you choose to study at universities outside of London, such as Manchester or Liverpool, you will need a minimum of £1,023 per month for a maximum of 9 months or £9207.
I’m sure you’ve already done the mental math and converted the total amount into your local currency😂. Don’t worry, this will not be the ideal amount for your living expenses in the UK. Are you feeling better? Now the UK is getting into the recession period by the end of this year, you will end up spending even more😂. Click here to know more –HOW TO PREPARE FOR A RECESSION IN THE UK?The cost of living, for example, using the metric of a pint of beer, a pint in Lancaster can cost around £2.80, but in London, expect to pay £5.20 or more.
Going back to the sheet, this might have changed your preferences on the universities by now. Don’t worry. We are not done yet.
I would highly recommend reaching out to the current students via LinkedIn where you can find people specifically from your course and can ask all your queries and their feedback on the university, course structure, modules, assessments, etc. You could also look online to see if there are any blogs like JUST A LIBRARY or vlogs from students at your preferred university and see what they have to say.
why I CHOSE THE UNIVERSITY OF LIVERPOOL?
First of all, this is not a promotional post. I am not getting paid for this. But, I WOULD LOVE TO😜!!
In short, I did all of the above research and came up with a good number of universities, and I applied to all of the top five on my list. To my surprise, I received conditional offer letters from all five universities. I was then forced to go back to research mode at these five universities. My top priority among the five points listed above was the course structure and location. I chose project management at the University of Liverpool because it was more detailed than the other four universities.
The next priority was the cost of living, as I needed to show only £9k as a living cost for the VISA. I also chose Liverpool because it is close to Manchester, one of the largest work cities outside of London. Perhaps more on this can wait🧐!! I’m writing a blog post about how I got a job in the UK. Subscribe to JUST A LIBRARY to receive updates on this post.
I hope this article has offered some insight on how to choose the right university in the UK. If you are already studying in the UK, please leave your suggestions in the comments section as they may be useful to future students. You may have also been approached by people from your home country about studying abroad. Save your time by forwarding this post to them🧐!!
There is a widespread news that the recession will happen in 2023 and people all over the world are getting prepared for a recession. The major economies are working to beat it. Here is how to prepare for a recession and save yourself.
What is recession?
Recessions are substantial declines in economic activity that can last for several months or even years. When a country’s economy faces a declining gross domestic product (GDP), growing unemployment, declining retail sales, and decreasing income and manufacturing measures over an extended period, we call it a recession. Countries may fall into recession due to various reasons – Too much inflation, too much deflation, and economic shocks are some of the few reasons for it.
For instance, Inflation in the United Kingdom fell marginally in the August, but remained significantly above the Bank of England’s 2% objective. Core inflation remains at 6.3% on an annual basis. The Consumer Price Index rose by 8.6% in the 12-month period leading up to August.
A lot has changed since the beginning of the year, and we’ve been impacted badly in certain ways. This could get worse now that the UK will enter into the recession period by end of this year. But don’t sweat, we still have a few months to prepare. I was reading some articles on it and thought it would be worthwhile to share my thoughts and takeaways. The following are some suggestions from financial advisers around the world on how to prepare for a recession.
How to sustain a recession?
#1 Take a look at your finances and create a monthly budget
If you are worried about the economy right now, the first thing you can do is get familiar with your monthly budget. You want your income to last as long as possible in an emergency. Knowing how much money is leaving your wallet and where it is going can help you determine the best course of action for preparing for unemployment or any other emergency.
I would recommend you to spend a month or two analysing your finances and looking at your spending history and how it maps with your priorities. Budgeting is not a complex thing. Anyone can do it. To get started, here is a famous technique to create your budget. Use the 50/30/20 rule.
According to the rule, you should spend 50% of your income on necessities, 30% on wants, and 20% on savings. It is entirely up to you to allocate your spending within these categories according to your income and cost of living places. But there are no strict rules in budgeting as long as you satisfyingly spend money and you keep safe. I would also recommend you to evaluate your budget every six months or at least once a year to see how well you are sticking to it. You can adjust your budget to align the changes in your spending, lifestyle, and income.
#2 Limit your big expenses
You want your income to last as long as possible, especially in an emergency like this. Once you have calculated how much money you are spending, look for areas where you can cut back. Are you wondering from where? Well, you might have loads!! You can reduce the number of weekend dining, takeout, etc.
You can also focus on the streaming services you use by making it less or refrain from making any financial commitments. This might look like a small number, but you will end up with a staggering number which will useful in an emergency. Live a satisfying life while keeping your cash protected in time of needs.
#3 Pay down credit card balances
The other expensive corners in your budget could be high-interest, variable-rate debts. Given the rising interest rates and inflation, those balances are likely to rise further and become more expensive to carry. This is something you must not carry forward during this situation. I would highly recommend you to pay off your credit cards as early as possible and cut off the unused/unnecessary cards until you are back in a safe financial position.
When you have eliminated those high-cost expenses, you can prepare better for other things financially. Another best way to keep you safe from high interests would be going back to the basics. No idea? It’s CASH. Start paying with cash. It not only keeps you from accumulating more debt, but it can also help you spend less overall because the psychological act of handing over physical bills helps you spend less.
#4 Diversify your income
If you have a flexible schedule, consider getting a weekend job, and if you have or are developing a skill set, look for ways to monetize those skills. However, if you want to broaden your time and earn more money, there are numerous options available to you with the internet, and it’s even easier to start working. It can be your hobby or something new. I would urge you to go for it until and unless it doesn’t require any huge investments.
Here’s an interesting statistics: 37% of remote employees work 2 full-time jobs, and nearly 6% work more than one stable job, which should be theoretically full-time or half-time.
Creating an emergency fund is the first and foremost step in the financial planning. Before you make any investments, you must set aside emergency funds. The emergency fund’s purpose is to provide a reserve for your finances during a crisis. It allows you to deal with any financial emergency without disturbing your investments, primarily set aside for your long-term needs.
To estimate the amount you need for an emergency, do the following:
Estimate your monthly expenses, such as food, groceries, rent, other household expenses, your children’s school fees, fuel, internet, and other utilities.
Next step would be on your loans, EMIs if any.
Further step would on any insurance premiums you will have to pay in the next 6 months.
Source – Internet
Calculate all these and the rest will give you the estimated emergency fund amount to put aside. You can put it in another savings account and keep it safe and refrain from touching the account.
I would recommend you to drop it in a vault on your bank. For instance, Revolut has a feature called Vaults which are interest-bearing vaults. As a result, the more you save, the higher your interest rate will be starting from 1.65% annual interest paid daily and goes up depends on the type of account you hold. During recessions, investment is what will save you from downfall. I am sure most of us will be waiting for the right time to invest in stocks, bank schemes, cryptos, or real estates etc. But it is recommended to keep the investment consistent rather than starting during a downturn, as the loss will be greater than in previous periods.
Investing in all these assets is a sure way to get returns, but first you need a strategy. The best strategy is to “balance your portfolio”. What does it mean? Balancing a portfolio requires leveraging both sides of the coin by considering both growing and protecting wealth assets in your portfolio.
Growing wealth assets – Stocks, Cryptos.
Protecting wealth assets – Real estate properties, Commercial properties.
During volatile market periods, when the market is falling, real estate will generate cash flows in the form of rent, and the rent will remain stable regardless of how much the real estate market value decreases. Once the market recovers, your asset price appreciates (stock price, crypto price) and increases your wealth, and you’ll receive cash flow in the form of dividends or you can call profit by selling your shares, real estate, etc. Either way, you are safe, and your money keeps generating cash flow.
Bottom line
When times are good, taking steps to prepare your wallet for a downturn can help ease some of the stress connected with recessions. Evaluate, analyse, plan your finances, and place your money safely where it can grow and multiply.

6 Tips To Get Your Dream Job – With the COVID-19 pandemic long gone and a dooming recession headed our way, it is only right if you are worried about job security. The global economy is in turmoil now more than ever. And, yes my friends, we might be soon facing the unfathomable terror of unemployment. If you are currently in such a situation or worry that you might end up in unemployment, do not panic. If you are fed up with HR ghosting, or endless rejection emails, do not give up. If you are desperately looking to get a job within a month, you have come to the right place. Simply follow the below 6 tips to improve your chances of securing your dream job.
#1 Update your LinkedIn
It is common knowledge that LinkedIn is the most powerful platform for finding yourselves a dream job. There are also many other similar websites such as Indeed, Monster, Reed, etc. that serve the same purpose. The major advantage of LinkedIn is that it enables users to become actively part of any professional network and connect with potential employers informally. For more reasons why LinkedIn is important for you, check out our post below.
Hiring managers and HRs love nothing but a good resume. It is the piece of paper that employers use to understand your qualifications and capabilities better. In other words, something that employers use to judge you. Remember, first impressions are the best impressions. So, if you are a highly accomplished person but your resume looks basic, your chances of getting an interview are low. Equally important is a resume well-tailored to your dream job roles. Such a targeted resume could potentially help you get through the ATS as well as land you interview opportunities. For guidance on target resume writing, check our post below.
Ahh, the cover letters!! Some might find it annoying when they ask you for a cover letter as part of the job application. Some might even skip the job application because of this😈. And yes, I agree, it can be a pain in the ass😒, especially after filling in so many details in the application. But never underestimate the power of a good cover letter, for it can go a long way. Treat it as a bonus opportunity to connect with the hiring manager. This gives the employers also an additional opportunity to understand you better, apart from your resume.
Referrals from current employees work wonders, both for you and your referrer. Yes, you heard me right. An additional boost to your job application and an additional income for the employee (in many companies), if you successfully secure the job. This is also one of the main reasons to stay active on LinkedIn and grow your professional network. You can also email the hiring manager/recruiter directly and share your details with them which will help you to stand out from the other 100+ applications.

#5 please read the Job Description
You might be receiving endless rejection emails, despite doing everything in your power and wondering what is wrong, or the world is so unfair. One of the main reasons for this is the job descriptions. Quite often we do not fully read and understand the job description in the advertisements, but simply apply in to hope to get an interview chance. But if your resume, cover letter, and job requirements do not match, how would you get an interview chance?
Just because you believe you are capable of doing the job, doesn’t mean the company understands it. That’s why it is important to have impressive targeted resumes, and cover letters, and fully understand the job responsibilities. This way you can always save time and disappointment from those rejections.
Last but not the least, do not give up. Finding a job of your dreams, or any job for that matter IS NOT easy. It is one of the adulthood times that transform you as an individual. The key to overcoming such a challenging period is by keeping yourself motivated, relentlessly applying to jobs, and believing one day would all be worth the effort.

After months of beta testing, Apple has officially released the final version of iOS 16 (along with watchOS 9 and tvOS 16). It includes all of the new features introduced in iOS 15, such as SharePlay and Focus, as well as increased customisation, such as new edit and undo send tools, a fully customized Lock Screen, and much more. Keep reading to learn about its features, compatibility, and how to update and configure new features on your iPhone.
Compatibility
Basically, you can download and operate iOS 16 if you have an iPhone 8 (2017) or newer (including the second- and third-generation iPhone SE). However, not every feature in the update will be available on your iPhone, as some capabilities, such as Live Text, are only available on iPhones powered by an A12 Bionic chip or newer.
HOW TO INSTALL iOS 16?
On an iPhone, The quick version to install iOS 16 is – Navigate to Settings > Select General > Select Software Update. The update will be available there; simply follow the steps to install it.
WatchOS 9 requires iOS 16 or later on an iPhone 8 or later. Then, in the Watch app, go to General > Software Update to start the installation. To complete the update, place the smartwatch on its charger.
NEW FEATURES
#1 New Customizable Lock Screen
The most notable feature of iOS 16 is the ability to totally customize your Lock Screen. You can now customize your Lock Screen with widgets, unique fonts and colours, and other filters. You can also build many Lock Screens and swap between them quickly. The various Lock Screens can also be linked to Focus Modes, so they change automatically when you change Focus Modes.
Third-party apps can also interface with Lock Screen widgets in the same way that widgets on your Home screen do. Some of our favourite apps have already added support for Lock Screen widgets, and there will be more in the coming weeks.

Along with the new Lock Screen personalization choices in iOS 16, Apple has also added new wallpaper selections. These options include a new default wallpaper, new Pride and Unity collections, as well as new Weather and Astronomy collections. The Weather and Astronomy collections are especially entertaining because they provide live data for your current location.
Below are the steps to customize your lock screen:
Long-press on your Lock Screen if you are already in iOS 16.
You’ll need to create a new one to do a custom lock screen if you are using an old wallpaper.
Tap the blue + icon in the bottom right corner.
Pick a wallpaper from the top categories or swipe below to view all options.
Tap the + icon under the time to select widgets.
Recommended widgets are at the top, more choices by category below.
Tap the time to customize the font and colour.
Tap the date to add a widget up top.
Choices include Calendar, Clock, Fitness, Reminders, Stock, and Weather.
Make the changes and then you are all set. You now got a wallpaper like an android phone 😂.
#2 NeW FEATURES ON iMessages: Undo send and edit
iOS 16 also adds two long-awaited iMessage features: the ability to unsend and modify messages. In response to abuse concerns, Apple made several improvements to these functions throughout the beta testing phase.
iPhone iOS 16 – New edit and undo feature in iMessage (Source – Google Images)
To amend or unsend an iMessage on iOS 16, simply long-press on the message after you’ve sent it. You can cancel an iMessage up to two minutes after it has been sent. Other iMessage users will be able to see that you unsent a message, but they will not be able to view what that message stated.
Lock Screen, widget, and notification settings can now be linked to Focus modes. Swiping to a specific Lock Screen will activate the associated Focus mode. Apple recommends “a data-rich Lock Screen when utilizing the Work Focus or a photo Lock Screen while using the Personal Focus.”
There are also Focus Filters: for example, if you’re in work Focus mode, you can opt to see only the Safari tabs related to a project you’re working on, or to filter out irrelevant messages in Messages and Mail. Again these features might sound too basic for android users, but we just have to go with the flow again.
One of the most significant changes is what Apple refers to as Safety Check. This is a new feature in the Settings app that allows persons experiencing domestic or intimate partner violence to rapidly reset the access they’ve provided to others.
Safety Check allows you to disconnect from people, apps, and devices you no longer wish to be connected to if your circumstances or trust levels change,” Apple adds. This enables you to rapidly reset access for all persons and apps, as well as assist you in reviewing your account security. You may also control who and what apps have access to your data.
#5 Notifications
In iOS 16, Apple has also revamped the notifications system, particularly on the Lock Screen. Notifications now appear at the bottom of the screen, according to Apple, which is intended to show you more of your wallpaper and other personalization options.
There are three notification settings in the Settings app: counts, tack, and list. Count displays the total amount of notifications, stack arranges them into a single stack per app, and list is the notification system that iOS has used for years.
#6 Passkeys
iOS 16, along with planned updates to macOS Ventura and iPadOS 16, promises to eliminate our need on usernames and passwords entirely. Passwords are one of the weakest links in digital security today, and Apple is adopting the new passkey standard in an effort to move forward.
The flow for logging in with a passkey will be similar to that of using iCloud Keychain and Face ID or Touch ID, with the exception that instead of selecting a credential from iCloud Keychain and auto filling your password and username into text fields, you’ll select (or create) a passkey as your login method. Passkeys are synced across your devices using iCloud Keychain with end-to-end encryption, so even Apple cannot access the data.
#7 battery percentage indicator
This may seem minor, but many iPhone owners were irritated when the useful battery % indicator vanished from the top of their smartphones’ screens in 2017. (Of course, the notch on the iPhone X was to blame.) Those users will be relieved to hear that it’s returning in iOS 16, on select handsets only.
#8 AND MUCH MORE
The above are only some of the notable features from the iOS16 update and there are so many other features like changes to Siri and other dictation upgrades, cutting objects from images, changes in all other apps, etc. You can find more detailed updates and features additions can be found here – Apple iOS 16 Features list.
iPhone iOS 16 – All Features List (Source – Google Images)
OUR VERDICT
Personally, I am really excited about the passkeys feature. Imagining a world where we don’t need to memorize our usernames and passwords is sounds crazy but I am sure that will be far more secure than today’s security features. Apart from that, I am also surprised to see Apple bringing more personalization and customizations to the front end.
What are some of the iOS 16 features you are most excited to try? Let me know in the comments below.
Oh. I almost forgot. There will be more features coming later this year. Stuffs like Apply pay later, a new Freeform App, and much more. So, stay tuned to Just A Library.
The Queen’s Funeral – The reign of Her Royal Highness Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor (Queen Elizabeth II), of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and of her other realms and territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith has now become a history. The queen passed away peacefully at Balmoral castle on September 8, 2022. Here’s what will happen in the next 10 days as planned by “The Queen” herself.
D-Day
Prior to the official announcement from Buckingham Palace, there was a “call cascade” in which the Prime Minister was personally informed by the Queen’s private secretary. The information was then forwarded to the Cabinet Secretary and Privy Council Office, which manages the government business on behalf of the monarch. The public only received the “formal notification” after that.
The royal family’s website was changed to a black holding page with a brief statement announcing the death, and flags at all of the royal homes, Whitehall, and other government buildings were lowered to half-mast at that point. Additionally, a black banner was displayed on government websites.
The first official government spokesperson was the Prime Minister, Liz Truss. The formal death announcement was fixed to the railings at Buckingham Palace as per tradition. In the evening, the bells of Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s Cathedral were rung. A national minute of silence was observed, and ceremonial gun salutes were fired at Hyde Park and at Tower Hill.
Prince Charles became the King of England and chose the name, King Charles III. HRH has arrived at Buckingham Palace today afternoon and will address the nation as King for the first time. Later on, he will meet with Earl Marshall to discuss the specifics of the state funeral, which is scheduled to take place in ten days, and to obtain formal approval for the entire funeral schedule as planned by the Queen. This evening, King Charles III will make a broadcast to the whole country and the Commonwealth.
Source – The Queen’s Funeral
D-Day+1
The major proclamation of the new king will be read out in public from the balcony of St James’s Palace, and the Accession Council, which is composed of senior government officials and privy counselors, will convene there at 10 a.m. In the City of London’s Royal Exchange, another proclamation will be read. The new king will meet with the prime minister and cabinet, the opposition leader, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and the Dean of Westminster in the afternoon.
Parliament will hold a memorial service. For the Accession Council, flags will fly at full mast for 24 hours before lowering to half-mast once more until the day following the funeral.
D-Day+2
From Balmoral, the coffin will travel by road to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. At noon, proclamations will be made simultaneously in Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast in the devolved nations. Parliamentary homages are expected to continue.
D-Day+ 3
Members of the royal family attend a ceremony at St. Giles’ Cathedral after a ceremonial march along the Royal Mile from Holyrood. After the ceremony, St. Giles’ Cathedral is accessible to the public for 24 hours during a period of lying in repose—not in the state, as that occurs in London—instead.
King Charles III will visit the Palace of Westminster to accept a motion of sympathy, according to the Operation London Bridge designs. He will then fly to Edinburgh and attend the Ceremonial of the Keys at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in his first official act as the King, which will be followed by a liturgy at St. Giles’ Cathedral. The first minister of Scotland will meet with him for the first time, and he will also receive a motion of condolence at the Scottish parliament.
D-Day+4
The coffin will be transported to Edinburgh Waverley station in the late evening when it will board the Royal Train overnight and travel to St. Pancras station in London the following morning.
King Charles III will fly to Northern Ireland for the memorial ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II at St. Anne’s Cathedral in Belfast and receive a condolence message from Hillsborough Castle. The procession of the late Queen’s casket from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall will be practised. During a public rehearsal for the Queen Mother’s burial in 2002, guardsmen march down the Mall. The arrangements for the Queen’s funeral will be identical.
D-Day+5
The casket is expected to arrive at Buckingham Palace a few hours prior to the significant ceremony scheduled for that day in London. The late Queen’s casket will be carried from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall to begin the start of five days lying-in-state as the first major ceremonial function before to the funeral. The coffin is anticipated to be transported on a gun carriage.
The public is invited to pay respects during the lying-in-state. In the center of Westminster Hall, which will be accessible to the public for 23 hours each day, the coffin will be placed on a catafalque.
D-Day+6
Continued lying-in-state.
D-Day+7
Following a liturgy at Cardiff’s Llandaff Cathedral, King Charles III will visit the Welsh Parliament, The Senedd and accept a motion of condolence. He will meet with the first minister of Wales. Detachments from the Commonwealth will start to arrive in London.
D-Day+8
Prime ministers and governors general from the countries are anticipated to attend King Charles III’s coronation.
D-Day+9
King Charles III will extend an invitation to visit for royal families from other countries the night before the funeral. VIP foreign visitors are anticipated at the lying-in-state.
D-Day+10
Westminster Abbey will host the state funeral. From Westminster Hall, the coffin will be carried in a procession to the Abbey. Nationwide, there will be two minutes of silence. A sizable ceremonial parade will follow the coffin to Hyde Park following the one-hour service when it will change from a gun carriage to a state hearse and be driven to Windsor. The coffin will be lowered into the royal vault after a committal service performed at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, after a parade through Windsor.
A private interment service with senior members of the Royal family will take place later that evening. The King George VI memorial chapel, a wing of the main chapel where her parents and sister Princess Margaret’s ashes were interred, will serve as the Queen’s last resting place. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh’s coffin will move from the Royal Vault to the memorial chapel to join the Queen’s.

Revolut REVIEW – Payment apps and digital banks are the future of spending, transferring money, and maintaining accounts in today’s fast-paced world. Many people and businesses have already transitioned, and more are turning into it every day, Revolut is one such platform. Revolut, a digital-only bank founded in 2015, has more than 20+ million customers worldwide and processes more than 150 million transactions every month. Here is all you need to know on Revolut and let’s take a deep dive on this Revolut review to see whether is this one of the best bank for international students.
What all notable features will be useful for students?
Opening a bank account is one of the very important things to be taken care once you have landed in UK. Signing up with Revolut is simple once you’ve decided it’s perfect for you. All you need to do is download the app and register – Unlike other bank account opening process, no proof of address is required, and there are no credit checks, which expedites the process and can be completed in minutes.
However, you will need to verify your identity by photographing yourself and a valid identification document. The software is straightforward, easy to use, and streamlined. Revolut allows you to:
Use it as your UK Bank/Expense Account – You’ll be given a UK account number as well as a sort code. You can use Apple Pay and Google Pay to make contactless payments, set up recurring payments, and withdraw cash from ATMs.
Make international payments – Send money international in 30 different currencies to the country you want at the interbank exchange rate (the same rate that banks give each other).
Hold different currencies – You can hold a balance on the app in 30 currencies (Revolut is also coming to India in 2022 – Stay Tuned).
Pay/split bills with your friends – The “Group/Split Bills” tool is one of Revolut’s popular features. It makes it easier for Revolut users to manage group expenses, such as dividing a pizza order bill with roommates or settling up spending on a group vacation.
View your spending habits – Using analytics tool, you can see your spending, categorised by type of transaction, by merchant or by country. You will also get weekly insights on where you want and how much you have spent on each category.
Set spending limits and freeze card – You can set monthly spending restrictions which is really a useful feature for students, enable additional protection, and have the option to freeze or unfreeze the card if you have lost it.
Save money, Earn Interest– Here comes one of my favourite features in Revolut. Revolut operates a system of “Vaults”, which are essentially money-saving pots. You can open a standard Vault and top it up with regular payments or by automatically rounding up your spare change from your daily transactions to your Vault. You can also create a “Group Vault” with your friends to save for a common goal, such as a vacation. These are also interest-bearing vaults. As a result, the more you save, the higher your interest rate will be starting from 0.65% and goes up depends on the type of account you hold. Personally, I would recommend everyone to go for it as you will never know the money going out from your account to your vault and this will help you when you are broke.
Cashbacks on every purchase – Get some of your money back on using in traveling and restaurants and also unlock new offers upon using Revolut cards. The cashbacks amount may vary depends on the type of account you hold which I have explained it below.
Refer your friends and earn money –This is also one of the features I love from Revolut. Unlike, other referral programs where you only get £5 to £10, Revolut pays you £50 and above for each referral. I’ve explained it in detail. Keep reading!!
Virtual Debit cards – Virtual cards work just like physical cards, only they are completely digital – or “virtual.” Because there is no physical card involved, virtual cards are best used for online payments or for purchases in-app on a mobile phone.
And Much More – Apart from these, you can buy and manage Stocks, Cryptocurrencies, and gold etc. I’ve not mentioned these in detail as International students are not allowed to do these while pursuing their masters.
Getting started with Revolut
Types of Accounts
Revolut offers a range of accounts for personal users, in addition to their business account offerings. The below image explains the types of personal account plans you can opt when setting up your account. Here is a detailed breakdown.
Once, you have entered your number, you will set a password and a 6 digit code will be sent to your phone to verify the account.
It will ask you for your name, birth date, address, and email.
Then you will make an initial deposit by putting in your bank details for a transfer to be initiated.
Then you will need to provide a selfie and a picture of your passport for verification.
The finally, You’ll be asked to select either a standard, premium, or metal account, and pay the fee (standard is free).
Once this is all done, you will be asked an address to send your ATM via post. In the meantime, you can start using your account with your virtual debit cards.
This is one of the very important reasons I personally use Revolut. We all know how poor and time-consuming the International money transfers are. services like Western Union and other bank transfers like SWIFT, etc. were the only way to move money abroad. But, Revolut and other digital banks are now trying to bring this down and it seems like working pretty good as well.
Transfer Fees – Revolut’s money transfer fees are dependent on which package you are on, what kind of transfer you are making, when you’re transferring and how much you’ve transferred that month. If you have Revolut’s Premium or Metal package then that £1,000 cap is removed.
Transfer limits – For most currencies, there are no transfer limits. However, with certain currencies, you may find that Revolut’s payment partners have set limits.
Exchange rates – Revolut uses the “interbank” rate for currency exchanges from weekdays.
Transfer Duration – Payments made to other Revolut users by card are instant. But a bank transfer to a non-Revolut bank account can take up to 5 days to reach your recipient.
Countries – You can use Revolut’s money transfer service to send money to around 150 countries in Europe, the Americas, Africa and and Asia Pacific. Also, this is for our Indian readers, REVOLUT IS COMING TO INDIA. Yes, you read that right. The process has already started back in 2021 and it looks like it will be active by end of 2022.
Is Revolut safe?
You might think whether Revolut is safe since it has only the digital bank not a physical bank. The FCA regulates Revolut as an institution dealing in electronic money, and all client funds must be held in a “segregated account” at a licenced UK bank. This means that users’ money is kept separate from Revolut’s finances and cannot be invested by Revolut. So, even if Revolut as a company failed, your money couldn’t be used to pay off its debts.
In terms of account security, Revolut’s smartphone app is password or fingerprint ID protected. If your card has been misplaced, lost, or stolen, you can immediately freeze or unfreeze it in the app. Turning on or off online, ATM, and contactless payments provides additional control. Below are some more information for you.
Revolut Bank Support
Live Chat Support – 24/7 live chat available in app Telephone Support – Call 020 3322 8352 Email Support – formalcomplaints@revolut.com Touch Login – Yes, On the mobile app Face ID Login – Yes, On the mobile app Freeze card – Yes, on both app and online Closing your account – Only via app Report lost or stolen cards – Via app or call – 022 3322 8352 Cancel debit cards – Via app
Yes, it is true. You can earn money from Revolut through their referral program. Here is how it works.
How can you invite your friends? 1. Once you have joined Revolut successfully, open your app and tap the referral tile on the home screen or on your profile. 2. Select the friends you want to refer from your contact list. You can refer up to 5 friends. They just need to be eligible for a Revolut account and can’t already be a Revolut customer. 3. You can also share the code or the link with them on WhatsApp or a private message.
What do they need to do? 1. Create a Revolut account using your unique referral link. 2. Verify their identity and pass our Know Your Customer (KYC) checks 3. Top up their account by connecting another bank account or using a bank card 4. Order a physical Revolut card (delivery fees may apply) 5. Complete 3 purchases of at least £5 each with their Revolut card. Exclusions on transactions apply, please review full terms and conditions for more details. (Note: purchases can also be done with a virtual card while they wait for their physical one) 6. All the above needs to be completed before the deadline assigned to them once they sign in. You can also track these steps on your app and remind them to finish this process.
What’s in it for you and them? 1. Revolut reward you with £50 or even more for each friend that meets the criteria above, up to 5 sign-ups. Get the full terms and conditions on their blog. 2. Once they are done, they can start referring their friends and start earning.
What are you waiting for then? Ready to bag easy money?
So far, I am very impressed with Revolut and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who is looking for a bank account with no fees and the ability to use multiple currencies. Especially, if you are an international student moving to UK, Europe, US, Singapore or Japan, then Revolut got you covered!! All you need is your Passport and a mobile number from the country you live to get started.
There are also some other banks available similar to Revolut in UK and we’ll be reviewing and comparing – Revolut vs Monzo, Revolut vs Starling, etc.. Subscribe JUST A LIBRARY to get updates on those articles.
